One has to love this cottage for it's pristine surroundings and perfect view of the sea. If you want to experience unmitigated village life in Jamaica, this is your chance.

Perched high on a hill a two minute walk from a lovely south coast beaches with cerulean blue waters. You will know that you have truly gone native The very first day. Village life swirls around you and soft caribbean breezes caress you. Sit on the veranda and soak up the ambience of the place, go next door to meet your neighbours or down to the road for some local food. There are also great hiking trails around into the hills and friendly neighbours in all directions.

You are in the village of Belmont. Home and final resting place of Peter Toch, one of the original members of Bob Marley and the Wailers. Visit his tomb and hear all about him.

You can also do some fishing with some of our local boys. They will take you out in a 'canoe' for a great morning of catching wahoo, tuna, kingfish or whatever is running. It is great fun. They will even cook it up for you afterwards.
