Mikuzi Cottages Studio

The Medium Sized Cottage is reasonably priced for a couple wanting to stay for a few days or a few weeks. Everything you really need including a 5 inch black and white television (if you really can't live without hearing the news) is included.

The smallest cottage is not pictured, It is in the yard behind the main house and is great for one to two people if you are really good friends...:) It is equipped with a trundle bed (if you don't know what that is ask your great grandmother). It has a hot plate for making tea or coffee and a tiny electric fry pan. If you plan to eat at the wide variety of restaurants in the area and only need a place to sleep, it will do nicely. I have stayed there quite happily several times. The price can't be beat at $30 per night.

What matters in Portland is the number of WONDERFUL things to do. Be sure to get to Reich Falls, Long Bay, Rafting on the Rio Grande, hiking with the Maroons in the Blue Mountains. Ask and we will tell you all about how to have fun here

Rattan furnishings and interesting accents make this a very comfy little bed-sitter. There is a kitchenette with fridge and stove top

Swing off a rope at Reich Falls, jump off the falls themselves or swim up the river to it's source. You can play in gorgeous pools along the way, climb into a cave. It is magical

CLUB PARADISE with Robin Williams and Jimmy Cliff was filmed here at Winifred Beach. The beach still remains as beautiful as it was in the film. It is only a three minute walk from the cottages
